Friendship

Just what is a friend? I've been struggling with this for many years now. Then it was friends who leave you when you're down. Now it's Kuansie who promises then pulls out on you last minute or she'll nit picks and puts down all your suggestions - ie a veritable cold blanket.

Isn't friendship supposed to contain elements of support and reciprocity? Or am I misguided?

Ok, so I know the one true friend in life is Jesus, but yet, if friendship are such undependable associations why do we bother?
