The Commandments aren't rules, they are a promise!

At last night's CaFE session at Christ the King, we learned that if you see the 10 commandments as a promise, not as a set of "do not", it becomes a positive proposition of the future you will have! 

E.g. No. 5, you shall not steal, becomes instead, after you believe in God, you won't want to steal!  Aha, very nice.  This coming mid-lent, it is a refreshing view to take.  Thank you Jesus!
