My phone is smart, the LED TV I just purchased is smart, but yet "smartness" in the home is so slow to catch up. In tropical Singapore, there's only so much smarts you can enable your devices. You can turn on/off any appliance : lights, TV, portable fan, air-conditioning, oven... But it's not really all that life and death : is it?
Essentially we sell lighting (controlled via an app on Android/IOS) and smart meters (gas and electricity).
There's so much more that can be "made smart", question is, technology isn't quite there yet. First and foremost, we need 1 single standard : is it wifi or Zigbee? All the vendors in the smart home/green home needs to consolidate on 1 standard.
