Funny that I was just talking to some friends about this over the weekend. Specifically on France too! Even though I didn't get a negative experience on my 2 trips to France (guess I got lucky) and I have not been to Russia (may never go!) and I personally find Londoners very friendly. Hmm.. I guess the list is true for France - lots of stories of their unwillingness to help tourists out.
